Civil War Weekend
At Historic Liendo Plantation
Step back in time and witness living history. A dedicated group of reenactors provide an entertaining backdrop for learning about life around the civil war era. The highlight of the event is the battle reenactments that take place on Saturday and Sunday. However, there are plenty of other opportunities to experience history first-hand. You can learn about cooking, camping, many trades, listen to folk music and learn about different military functions like artillary and cavalry. It's great fun for the family!
