Waler County Fair2010-09-25 - Sept 25 - Oct 2 . - one of the oldest and most entertaining events in Waller County. Since 1945 the Waller County Fair has provided fun and entertainment for the entire family. Built around the ongoing livestock shows featuring local high school FFA programs and 4-H clubs, each evening holds live entertainment, great food and rodeo fun. The fairgrounds are located on FM 359 just south of US Hwy 290 and old Hempstead Hwy about 1 mile on the left. |

Pattison Car Show2010-10-09 - .Second Saturday in October. If you love tricked-out rides and vintage automobiles, you need to come out and visit the car show. There will be entertainment, food and family fun in wonderful Pattison Texas.
Take FM 359 out of Brookshire into Pattison about 2 miles north. The show will be at the old school on the west end of town. For more info, directions and hours

Civil War Weekend2010-11-21 - through Nov 22 . Civil War Weekend at historic Liendo Plantation is a wonderful learning experience and an opportunity to see living history. Civil War Weekend is a fun-filled family event that stresses history as you literally step back into time. Come see civil war battle reenactments, live folk music, traditional blacksmith, and much more.

Katy PrairieManaged by the Katy Prairie Conservancy, this is one of the few truly natural environs. Located through western Harris and Waller County, the Katy Prairie is home to many of nature's finest. Ranging from special insects and frogs to rare flora and migratory bird species. Skydive HoustonLocated just south of Waller, you can experience new heights in excitement and fun. Even if you are not interested in skydiving, you are invited to come out and watch. Plenty of fun on your day in Waller County. |

Bomber Field RC Aircraft ParkCall before going out! Come out and see radio controlled model airplanes rule the sky over Waller County. Spectator fee is $7.00 with free parking. Children 12 and under are free. Hamburgers, cold drinks, and souviners available. The field is located in Monaville just north of Brookshire on FM 359. Go 2 miles East of Monaville on FM 1887 off of FM 359 and you will see the field on the left. Come see the B-17s fly in formation. |
